It would exhaust more I would think. If it is taking air from the cabinet and forcing it into the fog chamber it would still have to exhaust some where unless the crystal disc was used with out a intake and had a fast dripper on it constantly like in Mobays setup.

Ok man... this is my bad... let me give you the background...

The fog, (in the proposed future setup), would exit through holes in the 5gallons buckets. Envision a 5gallon bucket, with the plant at the top and fog being pumped in on the side-top... then, fog having an exhaust at the side-bottom... exhaust into the.... into the cabinet.

MY SETUP:

I've got a cabinet, inside a closet.... literally...

It's 20" deep, 40" wide... and 48" tall. Not too big.

I've got a 300CFM (squirrel cage) exhaust fan at the top... pulling air OUT of the cab. Then, at the bottom-side, I've got a 4" dryer duct with a "passive" air intake.

So, if the fog exhausts into the cabinet, it'll get sucked by the 300CFM fan at the top... again, I think my cabinet/setup can take 3minON/7minOFF before getting TOO "moisty".

Then you are exhausting all of your nutes and moisture out side which is going to be a bit strange and wasteful. If it exhausts as a bubbler under the water level in the res. there is no pressure in the fog chamber to turn the room into a rain forest and no moisture lost.

Turtle mountainmans acid dispenser thread gave me an idea. To exhaust the fog chamber back into the res. if no exhaust fans can handle moisture what about a submersible pump that can run dry. Some thing like is found in the fogger unit may work also. One fogger could pump in the fog and to relieve the pressure another fogger or whatever could move the fog from the other side of the chamber via tubing to the bottom of the res.
