Females in Male sports!

Women always say that there just as good as men in sports and that men need to allow them to compete with them! Well sometimes they get to and this happens! yesterday was the LA marathon, the first person to cross the finish line gets $100,000.00, and for the first time ever a women won(her time 2:25:10) and got the money, BUT the men ran the race in 2:08:40 and you say ok then how did she win right? well they gave the women a 16 min head start, is that fair. no, you want to compete with us then compete againts us as equals, that is want women want right? to prove women are just as athletic as men. well how was that fair? To show that woman couldnt hang in a male dominated sport i bring this up. This morning on espn there was a big deal and it was even on the top10, a women in the womens NCAA basketball tournament slam dunked! it was the first time in that tournaments history! men hav done this you ages. and if it was a guy it would be nothing special so to me that show that women should stick to there own leagues and worry about competing against other women and not try to invade ours, if a man tryed to join a softball team girls around the world would go crazy! so what the problem Women?

should we lower the rim for you, give you head starts, or a handicap(golf)! why cant you accept our rules and compete as we do or accept that in some sports the gender divide shouldnt be breached! buy the was i have nothing but respect for women i just dont understand a womens view point on this subject. opinions please!

I agree. If a women wants to compete with a man, then she should do it on an equal playing field. I'm all for women competing with men, but it should be fair. Also, ask any feminist if she should be drafted, and the answer is no. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for women's lib, but I want total equality (shared responsibility, shared rewards).

yep, another point for equailty is that in the case of getting a divorce, the women almost always keep the kids why cant the father be a responsible parent and have custody! instead they make him pay child support after he gives her half of his money(in most cases). doesnt sound fair to me! opportunities should be totally equal for both genders

well thats impossible so not a good arguement! with out us they wouldnt be having them and just cause there the mother it doesnt make them a responsible parent! a father can love his child just as much as the mother and deserves the same chance to raise his child as she does!
