    Air Ventilation QUESTION (please READ)

Fresh air to plants whatever species they are is extremely important for healthy growth!!!

For fresh air ventilation I have a 6 inch circular booster fan that fits in between flexible aluminum ducting. (It is meant to be used with home central air conditioning. Placed within the air ducting it boosts the cool air up your vent ducts in your house to better cool the upper floors.)

Since the ducting I was already using for my 185 cfm blower for exhaust is 4 inches in diameter planned to use that for the ducting on my fresh ventilation.

Question will the 4 inch diameter ducting put pressure on a fan thats 6 inches in diameter and strain the motor or cause it to over heat? When the fan is on with no ducting attached it blows more fiercely than when the ducting is attached. I am worried that I will be overheating the fan. Maybe I will go out and buy some 6 inch wide ducting. But I don't want to if it doesnt matter.
