opiates on empty or full stomach??

mochil69 Reviewed by mochil69 on 03-21-2006. opiates on empty or full stomach?? everytime I take opiates I seem to puke, most likely cause im taking a dose much too heavy for my 120 pounds . . anyway, my mother told me that if I take painkillers on an empty stomach I will get holes in it . . so does this mean I should eat maybe a fairly light meal an hour or so beforehand or what??
