I'd check around for a faq for it, before I started using the pen tool everything looked so bad when cutting things out.
when i actually need to cut shit out to paste on other pics (pics of people on cool backgrounds for instance) i use point to point cutting, then go back and manually 'weave' the layer into the background, can be extremely consuming (one good picture could take hours upon hours this way) on time, but i think the results are well worth the effort... but psp does offer other tools to help with these types of things that aren't so bad, i'd just rather be in complete control of the picture, instead of just mostly in control.

oh yea to the video editors out there that haven't tried this method, unless you have some knowledge of how to blend pixel by pixel so it doesn't just look 'copied and pasted' and some serious time on your hands i'd suggest not trying this method... btw i vote for your 3rd one too...

not to put anyones hard spent time down but any one of thoughs logos will make you look very amature...somone needs to google Photo Shop tutorial on bump maping so it looks printed onto the plastic, and also to fill in the worn ink already on the cap.

That's... what I did. Try making a better one with the picture given. You'll see that since it's a jpeg and not png, and is such a small image, it breaks down into pixels very quickly. I bump mapped as best as I could, but again, the image is very small so I just gave up on it. Now, I could take a day out of my life to take my own picture of a bottle cap and make a professional-looking logo, but it would take about a day and would require payment of some kind.

Yeah, I like the low budget horror film effect. The pic is too low res to make anything professional. So, VoidLivesOn, what is this for, you make movies or something? I googled Not So Nice Films and believe it was used to describe the movies they made Alex watch in "A Clockwork Orange".
