Umm.. They know what the job is about.. Sooooooo fucking what! Nobody on this Earth should 'appreciate' them simply because they are cops!! It is a fucking thankless job! Get over it!!

What really pisses me off is when they make some huge deal about some cop getting killed in the line of duty! HELLO!! They got killed doing their JOB!!!!!!! Cry me a river.. NOT!!


I would much rather see a parade and a bigdeal made about some innocent person killed than some power tripping idiot that got a cap to the head for doing his damn JOB!!!!!!!!!! KeyWord here is JOB!!!!!!!

OMG they choose to protect your fucking ass and would probably give their life to save yours and all you can say is well it's their job.Tell me how much you think your life is fucking worth and if it matches that of a cop's salary.

Most of you are pissed at the cop's simply because cannabis is illegal,you don't think about how many dead babies they have to deal with or how many drugged up,gun happy idiots either.

I have mad respect for cops, man. They get paid shit, and put their lives at risk in attempt to make this country a better place. (For us) Sure, the laws are fucked up, but that doesn't change what cops do for us. Instead of being anti-cops, which I think is 'stupid'. Why don't you go out, and do something about changing the screwed up laws that the police are sworn to uphold!

I'm not saying that some cops can't be assholes, because they certainly can be. I'm saying you can't put all of them in one lump pile. It's like when people hate 'all' Americans because of what our government does. It's silly, and pathetic, and shallow minded...

Dead babies, child rapists, insane postal workers with weapons, are you trying to tell me that dealing with the dross of society is just a job because if thats the case then you truly are naive.
As for appreciation maybe you don't realise this but if there wasn't anybody there to prevent it your ass would be toasted.

Now before anyone gets the idea that I am in some way a goody two shoes let me dispell that idea, I have been on the wrong side of the law on too many occasions. When I first went to prison the thing that pissed me off the most wasn't getting caught, I wasn't angry at the cop who arrested me or the judge who sentenced me . The thing that made me livid was the number of dickheads who blamed the cops ,the laws and every fucker else for them being inside.
It's real simple , you don't want to do time don't commit the friggin' crime and if you don't like the rules then unite with others and try to get them changed.

The Cops have my respect because simply put they put it on the line for much less than they deserve how many cops do you know who live in mansions?

Oh I do not fault them for doing their jobs. But again-it is a job. If they get killed in the line of duty? I do not understand the huge deal. It is a dangerous job. One they are willing to do. Also every cop I have ever met has a huge ego and major god complex. They think that badge gives them some fucking godhead stance.

Not saying ALL cops are like this cause I am sure there are some really cool peeps out here that are cops. I have yet to meet one though.

I am not some cop hater either. I am simply pointing out they are doing a daily job-just like anybody else that goes to work in this country.

Naamah, you've got some pretty stupid points there. What the hell difference does it make if its a job everything is a damn job if you do it to make a living.
It takes a special person to be a cop. some of them are assholes but most of them are just people with good hearts. sure they bust down on our stash but they also try to stop crazed criminals from shooting you in the face if someone trys to rob your house.
I've had cops crack down on my ass for skateboarding and shit but the odd ones completely down with the scene. hell my friend gets hash off a a cop who yoinks it from evidence and the like.

I have no respect for any cops, they are the enemy... Well technically its the government who are our ememy, but its the police who arrest us, so their the ones i hate.

Police can get arrested, too. Some officer, in a neighboring city, was just arrested for arranging to meet a 14 year-old that he met on the internet. He was in his late 20's.
