So, after choosing the perfect spot and putting my seeds in the ground, just how much help would I need to give them to get a smoke in September?

Being a bit sad and replying to my own post here, but what the hell.

After doing a modicum of reading into growing outdoors, I can only conclude that without access to your own garden it's kind of tough. Growing indoors is probably going to be the solution for me.
