I have bi-polar and I dont see smoking as anything bad for it. Drinking counteracts the medications for it more and is a greater risk. The times people are more likely to commit suicide too is if they are treated for depression only but they actually have bi-polar disorder. I dont know about if they smoke or not while having it. I personally find it helps and from other posts it seems a lot of other people with bi-polar benefit from smoking. I say keep it up just as long as you keep it under control.

I have bipolar disorder (on the manic side so its more like ADHD) and a pretty bad case of PTSD. I've heard of people being able to smoke medical pot for this stuff, but I've also heard that it can be detrimental. For me, it's a positive thing. In fact, I started smoking again a couple of months ago, and ever since, my psychologist hasn't been able to shut up Rating: 5
