Mama didnā??t raise no victim. Iā??ve often heard from people that were victimized when they were young that the shame they felt was due in large part because they didnā??t do anything to defend themselves. I think itā??s very important to teach our children why itā??s ok to fight, when itā??s ok, and that when you do fight donā??t be afraidā?¦just get the job done.

All this stuff they hear as they grow is no help. We teach our kids thatā??s it bad to fight, that they should mind adults, they shouldnā??t snitch on each other. I think itā??s better to teach them when these things are OK.
