Women are not stronger than men just because they give birth. Women as gender are forced to go through it, and men would be forced to as well. Strength has no relevence.
"Women are stronger because they can give birth," more correctly (assuming they actually are stronger) "Women are stronger because they are forced to give birth.

I'll finish stating my opinion later. Also, to the threadstarter, you are being hypocritical: You seem to love Torog. Torog says all women should be respected. You disrespected TakeFlight's mother.

my opinion is that all women deserve respect from us men. your mother was a woman (except TakeFlight) and she brought you into this world, so if that doesnt command respect then i don't know what does. but... one of the things i hate the most is when women disrespect men as a whole, like generalizations. this is not meant to be sexist: in general, women are smaller in stature and somewhat less strong then men, which equates a man beating his wife to a bully. no lunch money involved here.

Thanx for yer kind words,however I can't lay claim to being the "Godfather" here,as I have not been here that long. I joined Marihemp back in '98 and I can't lay any claims there either..lol.

My ex-wife had a problem with alcohol consumption that resulted in me having to defend myself from her,many times. I never hit her back and when she was lucky enough to git a blow through,it was not enough reason to hit her back. However,one day,when she was trying to kick me out,and as I was packing my suitcase,she snuck up from behind me and wrapped a bath robe sash around my neck and proceeded to choke the life out of me,when I started to see snow,I ripped the sash from around my neck and I was very tempted to hit her..instead,I resolved to leave her-which I did. I didn't call the cops on her,which I could have done. I didn't want my daughter to see her mother gittin arrested and it was time to simply git out the dysfunctional situation.

It's been 11 years since that day and she now realizes just how horrible she was acting and is very sorry for it..I'm so glad that she came to this realization on her own and today we got along just fine. Now..praise the Lord,my daughter is living with her and they are gittin to make up for all of the lost years that they missed and I pray that they build a good bond between each other and heal their relationship.

The moral of this story is,that one should not surrender to their emotions and resort to violence as a solution..we are each responsible for every choice we make and we each have the ability to choose how we will react to any given situation. I knew then,that violence would not be a healing force,but rather by not burnin that bridge,I left the path open for healing.

My b/f was a bit of a naughty boy a few months back and I took a swing for him, he didn't hit me back he just restrained me, but if your going to take a swing for someone then expect them to hit you back.
A female friend hit her boyfriend and he hit her back, she cried and cried and came running to me for the sympathy vote, she didn't get it infact she didn't like what I had to say about it either!

its like u knwo them loud bitches who get drunk and slag people off in the street...........i saw a guy about my age walking down the road to a pub/club/houseparty wotever and he looked all spiffing and blinging in his atire.....now a drunk 17yrs old little youte runs up to him shouts ENGLAND!! AND SOAKS HIM WITH BARCARDI BREEZER..........

the guy got angry grabbed her by the head and threw her by her head a couple of feet..........she then began crying saying hes a bully and a woman beater also her mates (4 of them) also begin to throw barcardi breezer bottles at him. by now the guys had enoutgh and looks like hes goin home to get changed....comes back ten minutes later with a asda's bag full of condoms filled with bleach.

the glittle bitches all went home with white clothes that day.

i never forgot that guy lol it cracks me up to this day.
