    small fans?

i've got 2 box's, each 50ft cubed. but i just can't find any fans small enough for my box, all the hydro shops sell massive fans & computer fans would surely be too small. anyone know where i can get some small fans? (in England)
    cheers

Don't be fooled by computer fans... yes, there are the small ones, but there are some big MoFo ones!

    Check the CFM rating.

You're over in England, so I'm not 100% sure what hardware stores you've got (names), but go to one, and check for "fart fans". I don't know if you call them like that, because you British are like super-corteous... but anyways, they're called "fart fans" because they're the fans used in bathrooms to exhasut "farted" air. Get it?

LOL! Ok, what ever... well, I got for about $15 a 50CFM fart fan... and for around $45 a 6" 90CFM one.

    Hope this helps...

BTW: Buy... if it doesn't work, take it back!

another thing you can do is buy Inline Duct fans. I bought one for 29.99, Canadian, and it's rated at 500cfm, but cfm is cut down significantly after adding ducting. From what I can tell, you can't have to much exhaust (to a point. You don't want fans pulling your plants over)

    cheers for the help guys.
my original idea was having 4 fans,2 for in-take & 2 exhaust fans. i was looking at some inline bathroom vent fans, their really cheap & quiet, but too powerful. u can get ducting that splits into 2, looks like a Y shape. would it be efficient enough to have 1 fan for intake of both boxes & 1 exhaust fan for both boxes, if i have the fans where the hole in my wall are?

if u look at the shower fans.. u can get a 12v version.. put a variable resistor on it then u can conrtol the speed.. its reeeeaaallly simple.. and ul be able to get the temp spot on by controlling the speed 2..

    One exhaust fan... passive intake.
