It'd be about 1ft if it did good but it would yeild very small... Give it at least 2 weeks of 14/10 if possible.

flowering from the start???
I've seen a picture in a post on overgrow of a plant that was on 12/12 from the start, it looked like it yielded a single bowl, thats about it. it was cool looking though.

If you start a regular seed with twelve hours of light that will surely hinder it's growth. It's best to keep plants in wedge for at least a month. However, some powerful sativas like Neville's Haze are advised to be sprouted that way, because it grows such a fast rate that it will overgrow smaller growrooms. But if you don't have one of these "nuclear-plants", let the little fellas grow for a while before budding.

Well, with the lights and pots, it surely fills a wardrobe. Probably won't yield as much as an indica, but sativa is the noble way to get high.
imp: True growers grow for themselves and not for sale, so they value small plants, small grow spaces and top quality.

flowering from the start???
ok thanks.. only wanted to kno what happened if i grew a plant with just the flowering cycle.. constant 12/12 lighting throughout all its stages.. i fugured u could trick the plant, condition it to think its at 18/6.. cus it lacks the reasoning to think otherwise.. if it flowers upon growth without considering the situation of things, would u then think it was because the plant is in a sense 'programmed' to the environment, rather than adapt??
i was thinkin of what would happen starting a 12/12.. then movin from to 6/6.. apparently that can't be done..

Through evolution, all we earthlings - plants, animals and humans - were designed to live at a 24 hour lifecycle. This function is encoded in our DNA, that's why you can't grow your plants the way you wanted. The plant compares the light period to this 24 and will not think it's normal, it will think that it's been sprouted very late in autumn and starts growing flowers at once. Plants can adapt to different enviroments, but they can't rewrite their genetic code.
And if you light her with 6/6, she'll think: "The sun rises and sets in six hours?! WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON???"

sheist.. it really deppends on the strain and the gentics...
some plants will do fine under those conditions..
http://boards.cannabis.com/showthread.php?t=48343
one of these plants on the thread above was flowered when it was 15-17 days old.. started from seed...
And it turned out awesome..
SOme plants will not flower even when they are put to 12/12 if they are not mature.. meaning they don't have pre-sex or alternating nodes...
: )
If you have the resources, it is very fun to experiment wth the plants.. both seeds and clones...
