ive already read that wikipedia entry about it and it doesnt explain much for me, for example is it a free way to get alot of cool games and then play them online? or is it just a general multiplayer client?

You are talking about Guitar Pro (5) or possibly power tab.I used to have an awesome guitar program that has a mic tuner and a library of every scale and chord, and it translated tab to musical notation and back, plus you could listen to it all afterwards and export midis and such. Can't remember the name though.

No, when you buy games that have "Steam" or "Valve" on the back usually you have to install them and register the serial through Steam and it'll preload it on Steam for you and you play it through Steam Client. It's nothing more than a program that makes it more organized for you to play all Steam powered games instead of going in your program files list everywhere. Originally Posted by God v2.0
