lemme tell you something. i guarantee you that i have forgotten more about firearms and firearm tactics than you have known in your entire fucking life. i have won competitions in both regular traditional sitting and moving targets as well as practical-tactical and US marine comps. i own a shitload of guns, including a twelve gauge very similar to that one. looks like an Ithica or remington, both of which i have. it is a twelve gauge, of course, so heres a few simple facts.

1.the soldier looked to see light in the chamber/barrel assembly. he was satisfied with what he saw, light, and proceeded to get über stoned. even YOU wouldnt have put a loaded gun in your mouth.

2. with that amount of smoke coming through, no shell could have been jammed. a twelve gauge shell would have completely blocked the chamber and consequently the bowl/marijuana assembly from going in.

3. even if a smaller gauge shell would have jammed (the only one that will is a 16 gauge-not available in 'Nam)(i think i have never deliberately tried to test this) there would have been no way to get the smoke through.

4. the soldier HAD to have cleared the chamber, as on the last pump a shell ejected. the ejector/extractor assembly only works on the chamber, so there would have had to be a bullet chambered to be ejected. not from the magazine. from the chamber. and on top of that, he never closed the breech, so no opportunity for another bullet to have been chambered.

5.he ejected three rounds. that is all the soldiers were permitted to load, due to fear of jams when topped off.

for all you non-gun-techies this translates into two things. 1. tadaa has been pwnt
and 2 im stoned :rasta: :rasta:

Everything you just posted was assuming the gun was in perfect working order. Like I fucking said a million times guns jam and malfunction all the time. And I can guarantee you don't have NEARLY as many firearms as myself. I'm a collector, as well as my grandfather, and great grandfather who I now have all of their guns as well as dozens of my fathers.

Smoke can travel through cracks, so yes smoke could still go through the barrel, I don't know where you got the idea that a gun is air tight inside.
