My family got up earlier than me and had eggs and home fries without waking me. Does that seem rude to anyone but me? My dad's family always wakes me but he's much more family oriented.
Also, the next time you're drinking a soda, belch in your mouth and hold it in without breathing it out your nose or mouth and try inhaling your burp. I haven't done it without coughing yet.
