and as for the cupped hands bong thing, try right now by putting saliva in the front of your mouth and inhaling. see if it works

plus, you can try different liquids!
just make sure you dont swallow that stuff

BTW, cupped hand bonging (lol) is safer, too. it takes lotsa carcinogens out of the smoke

Nothing wrong with coughing!!! It gets you higher faster. You shouldnt be so worried about coughing in my own opinion, you'll still get high no matter what.

Yeah? I just hate coughing, it makes me feel like i'm fucking up the high because my lungs are disagreeing with the delicious herb.

when i started smoking i couched my ass off then slowly built my tolerence now i cough after strong hits or harsh ones

Thanks alot for all of the suggestions. I just got back from his place----so stoned!! I didn't cough as much. I think it is just because I am new to smoking, i'll try the "water bong" with cupped hands. I'm sure we'll save up for a bong soon, but I just need to know what to do till then.

He says its because I hold my hit in too long, but I got so ripped today after holding my hit in longer than usual. Coughing a little then, but thats about it. Just breathe in and your high as a kite this time, lol.

Anyways, keep on suggesting, i'm sure I'll need it.

Try to take the hit, inhale, then count to 5 in your head. When you focus on that and only that you won't cough. Good luck.

I bought a pipe at the quick stop, one of those junky metal ones. Every time I smoked I cough like hell, took me a week to realize it wasnt the weed it was the pipe that was the problem.


Or take smaller hits. Open your lips a little bit to dillute the smoke. I also find inhaling through my nose to finish my hit clears out the smoke that gets up into my nasal cavity.

Find a smoking method that works for you.
