    2OOw Fluorescent.

Hello, im using a 200w fluorescent blue spectrum bulb in a confined space, iv got 3 plants on the go. the light is supposed to give out 10,000 lumens.

I plan to switch to 2 red spectrum 200w fluorescents for flowering.. id like to know if this will give me good bud and a good yield?

id also like to find some growers that have used the same lights.. as i havenā??t hurd much about them.

These are the lights im using: http://www.3countieshydroponics.co.uk/system/index.htm

    Thanks Again!

I'm using a 200w Hydrofarm CFL in a confined space as well, and it's working out well. I doubt that it's worth it to use the red spectrum CFLs. One idea is to get some inexpensive red spectrum CFLs used for house lighting and add them to your current setup. Or maybe try some Solaroasis LED grow bars, which is what I'm going to switch over to soon. LEDs will use practically no electricity and give off almost no heat.

hello tomthehippie yeah them lights are good im using a 200w envirolite blue spectrum for vegatation and soon i will be changing to the red spectrum for flowering,it will definatly give you good bud but the yeild depends on ya room remember the more ya veg a plant the bigger it gets and will give out more budding points when you switch over to flowering but i would veg up untill the plant gets to half the room hieght because when ya flower they will stretch towards the light and you dont wanna run out of room that will just result in unfinshed bud (not nice)

personly i think there is nothing wrong with our lighting method
it is cheap no need for a ballast and dont produce much heat
what more could we ask for for the price
