Freakin out on LSD

I have only freaked once in my entire life.
I was in the Marines then and it was a Sunday night and I was down in Mission Beach in San Diego trying to score some acid. It was around 7 p.m.

Just then I heard my last name being called out and it was a guy that I used to party with in Germany when I was in the Army. I hadnt seen this guy in like 4 years. It was weird. A chance meeting. Well, he was living in San Diego and he took me and my friend to go score some acid. It was blotter. I dont remember what was on it. We all took 2 each,

So, we went back to his apartment and started taking bong rips and it was cool. We were talking old times about fighting, drugs, women. All the fun stuff. All the while this acid is creepin up on me.

We decide to go outside and walk down to the beach. There is like some fires going and people partying on the beach. Now this acid is starting to hit me hard and I can hear the most detailed conversation. My friend from Germany is gone. Next thing you know, I can hear him talking over by one of the fires and he is saying "those guys over there are cops" calling me a cop and that I was there to bust him. I could hear a pin drop at 100ft at this point.

We thought we should get out of here. I am walking with my friend and we joined into one body and we were a huge monster and then I start running. My mind is fuckin fried and I am seeing my death and my life flash before my eyes. As I am running I am peeing my pants. I remember that for some reason. Then I just remember jumping off of some cliff.

Then I woke up in the hospital 2 days later in intensive care. I cracked 3 ribs, got one of those blood eyes and had staples in the shape of a smily face on my head going to my scalp. About an 8 inch gash. I was pretty fucked up.

From the report it says they found me at the bottom of a set of stairs on the beach. I am sure I dove headfirst down the stairs. What can I say, I lost my freakin mind.

It was a life changer for sure. Made me realize my own mortality quick.
and also, I remember thinking I was gonna die and saying to myself over and over "I hope I made the right choice" about religion.

BTW- My friend picked me up from the hospital and with my staples still in my head. We cruised down to Mission Beach and scored some Acid and then went to TJ and partied all night.

and that is the last time I used LSD. Now I stick to natural.

The next day after I lost my mind. My friend went over to that guys house I was in the Army with to get his shoes and was told that the cops had come an arrested him on a string of robberies in GA, FL.
I have never seen or heard from him ever again.

Maybe he is still alive and can see this thread.

remember too that LSD is a man-made drug. If you want to "trip" use shrooms or salvia and appreciate it. but remember that those sacred entheogens are not made for recreational use as they are indeed powerful. they are more ceremonial. it seems like you were trying to just get a physical high without actually understanding the pupose of these plants...to gain insight and enlightenment. your mind is totally revealed to you. why do you think people get paranoid huh? please have a pure mind and don't abuse it.
