Hey all, i live in cali and i am going to grow indoors for the first time very soon here. i have a nice outdoor crop right now, but during the dry spells i need a lil sumpin. anyways, i am looking at a sea of green with one plant per square foot, a 3x4 foot area about 6 feet high. heres a few Q's.
1- I want as much light as possible, $ is not a prob, but space is, is 400 watt HPS too much(many?) lumens per square foot? figure about 50,000 lumens output over 12 square feet, that is bout 4,166 lumens per sq ft.
2- in a sea of green, is it advised to top them, or let them grow just one top?
3- I read about leeching rockwool cubes because of Ph, is this necissary when rooting clones?

any help is much appreciated, this is a picture of a premature cola of mine right now, it is an early harvest breed of indica that i am too stoned to remember right now, harvest in 3 weeks!!
