Hmm, I don't want to be the disagreeing asshole on this one, but you're forgetting one state that easily rivals California, and is often thought of as better- HAWAII. Hawaii's climate leads to usually lower yields than other outdoor grows, but supposedly has some of the tastiest and most potent buds out there. And now, I'm not going just through what Jason King told me, but through several friends that have visited the island.

I've had the Cali med club buds. Diamond Cutter is some bombass stuff, hated Blue Dot, Grand Daddy Purple ok, Maui Wowie awesome...List goes on and on. My med club strain list I've tried- Trainwreck, Fruity Pebbles, Diamond Cutter, Grand Daddy Purple, Kush #1, Super Skunk, Afgooey, Goo, Maui Wowie, Jedi, Mango Skunk, Romulan, Snow, and Blue Dot. Diamond Cutter is my all time favorite strain, but for the most part, Amsterdam buds beat the piss out of US buds. But with anything, everyone likes different things, so if you put a plate of some Amsterdam buds in front of them, and a plate of Californian buds, it's 50/50 on which they will like better.

I personally prefer stuff from the 'Dam though.
