grow light shades

i got a grow light shade that is white in color i want to extend it to get more light on the plants i going to use some shiny but dull sheet metal should i paint it white to match or leave it alone,would this make a difference in the reflextion of the bulb light What do u think?

I would paint it flat white which will reflect better. What are you designing?

The shade is kinda small i believe its 40" dia if i have mylar in room would i need to extend shade take a look at pic what do u think

keep it up...

mylar on the floor and covering your pots will increase your yeild
plain and simple

y i am asking is last crop the plants were big they were leaning into the direct light if i extend the shade it would displace more light around the whole plant u think so or no? When u say cover pots what do u mean

Thats what I use with the bulb straight down. Mines got 8 sides instead of 7 though. Definatly on the right track.

no there 2 weeks veg 15 on the go u thinks more i don't wanna cram them in there or is that ok
