I think it's just that people who are lazy and dumb are the ones who smoke way too much weed to begin with and people blame the weed. If they quit they'll still be lazy and dumb. Weed doesnâ??t directly cause you to be lazy for periods when you are not high, so for example you could smoke a massive amount of weed everyday for a year, and you wouldn't be lazy after quitting. However, Smoking weed will make you lazy while your high, especially when you're burning out. Smoking weed and going to bed while your high or burning out can also make you feel lethargic the next day. Given all of this it's easy to see why people who smoke weed often, are stereotyped as being lazy and dumb. Now this may be true because they are ether high or burnt out a lot of the time. However, if they stopped smoking (completely or as often) they would no longer be lazy or stupid for a large percentage of the time (unless they were like that to begin with, and many ppl are).
