Hey everybody, I was just watching the local news and apparently Legislature is about to pass on some retarded rule where parents of drug using kids can make their kids go in to detox for 5 days in Manitoba. Manitoba seems to be the birth place of lots of weird laws that are eventually considered by Ontario. I Guess this will be something to keep our eyes on.

well considering that parents are legally responsible for their children (nice way of saying that they own them), its not all that surprising. If you don't want your parents sending you into a detox program, don't let them see any signs of drug use (i.e. Don't smoke in the house. Don't smoke while they are home. Don't come home blazed of your ass. Don't have pictures of cannabis plastered all over the walls of your room. Don't be stupid, stop and think before you use.)

Yeah, but on the other hand, if you were a user before, have been caught before or your parents talk to people who have kids that do it, or whatever the situation might be, you can now be randomly ordered in to detox at any time. There's some instances ofcourse where it's perfectly fair, but nobody likes one more thing to worry about.
