You need a book .
leaves will root but not easily.
you need a growing tip about 2-3 inches in size for a decent clone and under good conditions it will root in 10 days.
Cuttings from a plant in full flower is a little harder and can take up to a month to root.
I think this is the best time to take a cutting because you know how well your cuttings will yeald.
Tech Reviewed by Tech on . cloning error? I took a cutting from a 7 day into flowering female, The mother is doing fine, but the clone is looking dead to me. I'm just wondering if I did it wrong. Took a lower cutting, it was only a 3 prong leaf, but imagined it would be sufficient to start growing from, as this was just a first attempt at a clone. I cut the entire branch off from the node and then popped it in some rooting hormone, then into some MG potting soil, and lightly watering. It's under a 100w fluro for the time being Rating: 5
