So I have a nice apartment in a city. I have a closet. I have a landlord. I have a light setup.

I have all the privacy and materials I need to grow, but I'm still nervous about the cops. I know that the number one rule is 'don't tell anyone' and this is understood. Is there anything else that could get a grower in trouble that I might not have thought of?

As long as nobody knows and you keep it well hidden then there is really nothing to worry about. Watch the smell too. The cops cant come into your house without your permission or a search warrant and to get a warrant they have to have probable cause. If you never tell anyone and keep it well hidden then they will never be able to come in unless you do something else stupid.

ive been told that the police choppers can tell if u grow in say your attic, they can tell by the concentrated heat build up on your roof with thier body heat radar equipment..........so ive been told.

heat buildup could be from many things. it's only ??sercemstantial?? evedence which is not enough for a search warrent. i've also heard you can get heat reflective foil to line your celing, it maybe mylar, i've heard it has heat absorbtion qualities.

If the police choppers are using thermovison on your house it means that they were already on to you, and the only way they could be on to you is if you told somebody or somebody found out some other way. also don't do things like order seeds, hydro setups, and HID lights and ballasts and have them delivered to your grow room.

The way they could tell too about the heat is if it were higher amounts than what you probably would be doing. If you had a 250 or 400 watt light running and had a good ventilation, I doubt they would look twice there even if they flew by which I doubt they would.

police dont intentionally send out choppers just to find pot growers...( it costs thousands to send one of those baby's up )

finding pot growers is purely accidental, when they use the thermal imaging camera to find humans that have done a bunk from their stolen vehicles and are hiding in peoples gardens and suchlike. the chances on them acting on it are minimal.

i find the main problem when using hid lights is light seepage from exterior windows.. a bright orange light coming from your bedroom window is a dead giveaway. so block your window up COMPLETELY. so no light escapes...

I have an apartment and I'm growing in a hall closet. It's huge and not much light can get out.

Problem is I did order seeds from Amsterdam and they're on their way here now. It probably shouldn't be a big deal though, right?

How many seeds did you order? The laws usually dont come knockin on doors unless they want to take out someone with distribution intentions..If its simply for personal use im sure they wont even notice. Just dont make it obvious that your growin something in your apartment. If someone, such as a nosey old lady, makes a call stating that she thinks your growing plants in your apartment, they can contact your landlord and search the apartment with his/her permission. Just keep it confidential. TOP SECRET bro..lol.

Dont even stress the choppers man. If you live in an apartment, you most likely dont live on the top floor. If you dont live on the top floor, the choppers cannot make out heat signitures clearly enough to asume anything. If you do live on the top, its very easy for them to make out what is giving off heat. But the only way the choppers go up, is if they are investigating a potential distributor..(aka drug dealer).

In my opinion, go for it bro. Keep it confidential. Make sure no one can see the plants or the setup via the door, windows or light escaping from the apartment and you should be straight.

Remember, if you grow for personal use, its not breaking the law. But when you grow for someone elses use, its your biggest flaw. The more people that cultivate cannabis, the less it can be considered a street marketed drug. Dont buy it, grow it!

the way they catch large scale cutivation is by using a red light senor in houses, if you have a small amont of light (5 or less aproxmitly) this will be nothing.
