you can't go to jail for saying you smoke pot. there is no proof at all. u can't even go to jail for failing a drug test. hell, you can't even go to jail for posting pictures on the internet of your pot or even of you smoking. it could be oregano they can't prove it's pot, and you could be blowing out tobacco smoke or something.

just the idea of someone who uses pot often and enjoys it going around saying "no no i dont do that" just so he can keep a "good" reputation among his peers is fucking sickening.

all im saying is that if u smoke pot and enjoy it very much, like most stoners, u should stand up for what you do and be proud. obviously lying to your parents is nothing because then it's pretty dumb to openly admit it, you're asking for them to search you and take all ur shit and punish u. that's a completely different story. if it's just your peers and shit then just say "yeah i smoke marijuana. i enjoy it too. does that make me less of a person?" and if they say yes then walk away and never talk to that person again.

besides who else would this girl tell besides your or her friends? is she going to walk around school going "hey look everyone! that kid over there smokes pot! how gay is he?!"

Choice of living a lie or just being honest with yourself and others, I can handle anyones BS as long as I know I'm being true to myself.

relationships are about give and take, compromise and so on. each side is goign to have to give a little. there are two factors that could totally mess up anything i'm saying so if the answer to "have she quit anything drastic for you" or there are other things she'd rather me quit, but the argument always seems to come back to me and my weed" then this does not apply to you
relationships are based on give and take as already stated. therefore, no one in any relationship should be able to make a decision about what the other is going to do..

some scenarios
she doesn't want you smoking it, cuz it's a "drug" well, so are the pills that pharmautical buisnesses hand out, there's no real diffrence there.
she doesn't you smoking it cuz it can cause cancer/illnesses, technically you have way more ways to die then smoking weed... i'd be willing to bet you'd get hit bya drunk and die before you'd die over anything weed related. then there's alway sif you just do it to much for her, don't do it so much, if you she wants you to quit just cuz she don't like it, reason with her, make her give up (or lower the intake) of something you dislike she does, and in turn you cut down some of your smoking habbits... no relationship ever will 100% agree with the other person, that's why we need compromises

Yeh but the kid goes to school man, who gives a fuck if he's proud about it or not? like ONE adolescent is gonna change the outlook of the world on marijuana consumption. Fact is ppl (kids no less, and av u spoke to the majority of em....fuuuuuuuck me, like talkin to a brick wall) will be raggin on him all the time, and yeh u can walk away, but u got to go to lessons with these ppl aswell, so the walking away thing doesn't really work, cuz sooner or later you will have to deal with them, and if u hav the attitude toward them of 'Fuck ya, I'll do what I want' they could (unlikely, but still), not only tell the school u smoke, but tell em u deal, since ure mates seem to look down on drugs anyway, uve been lowered to the rank of 'Junkie trainee'......a girl I was friends with at school got thrown the fuck out becuz sum bitch went runnin to the teachers on her (and she was jus smoking, not dealin), so yeh u won't go to jail, but a lot of hassle could be caused, and maybe he just wants to keep his head down and get thru school with as little trouble as possible, I kno I did, what a bag of shit those yrs were.

you're missing the point... it's not to change the outlook on marijuana, i just think that when you use marijuana and you enjoy it, it seems cowardly to start lying about it.

the attitude is not at ALL "fuck you i do what i want" the attitude is "i smoke marijuana, but that doesn't make me less of a person. if you think it does, and you have some prejudice against it, then this friendship, relationship, whatever it is, can't continue." if you go to these people with a bad attitude, it'll give them a bad attitude towards you. be positive, when someone sees you being open and honest about yourself while still being kind, i bet you that you'll strike a pleasant chord in them and they'll see you not as just a marijuana smoker but as a pretty good guy too.

I kno what ure saying man, it is cowardly to lie about it, but for you to be bothered by this, you must give in to the weakness that makes you a coward in the first place, the opinions of others. As for Ghandi, I think it was amazing what he did, he had as much balls as a fucking barbarian, but even tho his principles were firmly built on non-violent methods, his oppressors weren't, and in the 20 or so years it took for him to gain the independence of India, hundreds of thousands of protestors were either shot/imprisoned/beaten, including himself many times. Plus when the independence was finally gained, it was just after the first world war, when britain was economically butt fucked, but that still didn't stop them from tryin to split India up in to smaller states, with the 1946 cabinet mission to India, which in a way they succeeded in doing, political unrest was invoked in the indian parliament between the different religious groups, ending in turmoil, but on his last fast to death for peace between Hindu, Sikh and Muslim groups, they agreed they would advocate peace............little over a year later Ghandi was assasinated by a Hindu extremist, with the group Mahasabha, who blamed Gandi for weakenin india by paying Pakistan to avoid war, and these religious groups and many more are still having a pissing contest with one another.
So you can hav as positive attitude as you want, but ppl will ALWAYS try and fuck you over and call you a prick for what you do, the best thing is to do what Gandi did once a day every week, and be silent, unless you want to really go balls out on it, and in this case I don't think its worth it to slpntrx5, cuz he'll eventually leave school, and never see 80-95% of those pricks again.
