you'll find the balance but in the meantime, keep planting seeds. and don't try bending, fixing or experimenting with "the book" (and 1st rule in 'the book' is Keep It Simple Stoner or k.i.s.s.). pick the method that fits with your equipment and just follow what others have done and you'll get a harvest much quicker than trying this or that because an idea pops into your head. there's plenty of time for experimenting later.
