How long before...

How long into flowering should you start to see signs that changes are taking place? Im goin on 5 days and the only thing Ive noticed is an elongation of those little protrusions (sry i dont know the real name) between the nodes mostly at the top of the plant, which I know buds first ( at least i think). Im using crappy everyday flourecent lights, might this be the reason, or is it still to early to tell anything.

cell,it took 10 or 11 days before I could tell a different between male or female.males have cluster like look as the female has hairy like pistils continually,but both starts with two pistil at or between the nodes:thumbsup:

Hahaha, thanks i was gettin worried. Grrrrrrr, i want my new fucking lights today, before i go out of my mind.
