I am considering setting up a stealth cabinet grow in an apartment or house I will be recently moving into. I will admit the extreme laws in my state are doing a very good job at dissuading me from proceeding. Here in 'bama its 3 years minimum sentence for cultivation of any amount. To alleviate some of these fears I am calling on some posters to tell me alittle more about their setup and security.

1) How long have you had your current grow.
2) How big is it? (plants and if indoor room/cabinet size)
3) General type of area you live in (country, city, suburbs)
4) Is it legal for you or where you are.
5) Have you ever had any trouble from authorities?
6) Do you sell your bounty or is it for personal satisfaction?
7) Any other info you might have.

For those of us in states with laws like yours, I think the main security things are:

1) Don't tell anyone.
2) Don't put your refuse in your own garbage bin, or even near yours.
3) Don't sell.
4) Don't smell.
5) Have effective blinds/drapes.
6) Don't be conspicuous, in any way. (Loud parties, many guests, etc.)
7) Don't leave your home with pot or paraphernalia.

If you do all those things, it's pretty hard to get busted. They can't see it, they can't smell it, you don't leave the house with it, there's no evidence of it in your trash, and nobody but you knows about it. Only an act of God can get you caught because they have to have a legal reason to enter your house. If you're renting, that's a bit more scary, because your landlord can let them in. If it's an apartment, then it's also scary, because Joe Smoker next door falls asleep with a cigarette and next thing you know, you're in prison, totally out of your control.

Also consider that I've been busted recently for possesion in Miss... so i'm sure i'd show up on the radar far quicker than most people. And... being a driver at heart it'd be pretty hard for me not to go for a drive with my joint or one hitter and a small bag. I think I'll wait till I leave alabama.

You are worried about driving in a state you did not get busted in? Man I smoke joints while pumping gas at the gas station. No one cares. I would drive 1250 miles a week a couple years ago and I smoked every mile. Even when I would get pulled over after smoking I never got caught. Well once but they would have given me shit anyways. Every statie in the area (rockingham 6 troopers on duty at once 6 cops to issue me a ticket) Carrol family are puppet bitches. Senator Richard Carrol, Judge karen carrol, trooper sean carrol.)) pulled me over at once for supposedly speeding and searched my car with means of extortion. Good thing I left the stash at hame that trip. They found a couple of seeds. Then VT corrupt politians made up a case against the constitution and ....man the point is I was not worried even driving and smoking thru the same region. The entire state police were after me in the state I lived in and you are worried about smoking in a different state then you got busted in. Brother man it is safe. carry a tube of tooth paste for the breath and ozium for the car. Chill, drive, enjoy.
