You can always try to make them change their mind, but really it's easier to just make them think you stopped. I smoke, my parents don't know it at all, and it works better that way (My parents also are complete ingorants). So yeah act like you changed your mind and stopped, and smoke when they're away from home, or some place else. But I don't know who your parents are, maybe you can still make them change their mind, or at least make them read the books.

I play baseball for my school and do very wel academically and am going to University of Florida next year. Recently I have been getting caught smoking and now my car is taken away and my parents wnat me to see a drug counselor.
