    Friend's Death

I know most of you, or atleast I hope, are smart enough to know your limits and not to mix drugs, but things still happen.

I woke up today at 7am to my mother handing me a phone saying, "Jon died."

I didn't know what to say. My girlfriend is on the phone crying. She was a good friend of his.

He and friends were partying up at the Trump hotel/casino in Atlantic City. The story supposedly goes he started feeling sick and they thought he was fine because he's a heavy drinker and can usually handle a lot.. but this time, it just didn't work out that way.

Several stories are coming out from the people who were there, who were also intoxicated on numerous substances now that it's all setting in. Help just didn't get there in time. Whether they called right away or not, which they probably didn't because they figured he'd be fine, it won't bring back a great person.

No one is 100% positive what killed him, but the story at his house is a methadone overdose, mixed with A LOT of alcohol.

20 years old and dead. A musician, a friend, an all around great person to the people he cared about.

    ...that's all.

    Friend's Death

Yeah, it sounds like a mix of pills and booze to do that. An old friend of mine who I use to party with, a girl, I'm a guy, someone gave her roofies in her drink without her knowing...the date rape drug, and she started feeling sick and delirious, so we took her to the hospital where she nearly died on the way there.

Too bad about your friend. I've lost a few friends to silly things like a good time. You'll get over it, but it will take time.

    Good luck.

    Friend's Death

My old best friend took 20 some tylenol and drank some bleach just 3 days ago, he almost died over some stupid girl that he "loves" even tho hes only 16. I kno this isnt the same as an accident, but i kinda kno where your coming from, and it a horrible, horrible feeling, and my friend didnt even die. So i cant image how it would feel to lose someone like that.

That definately sucks, but at the same time makes you realize you need to be careful yourself. I lost a close friend in a motorcycle accident a few years ago, just 3 months before she was going to graduate. Not a phone call you ever want to get...
