I hate people like you, dont be such a dick. Although your right about how you shouldnt have had to stand up for anything.

Teacher vs. Me in school today i got into a heated arugment for 1:30 minutes which is the whole period and the whole class got into the discussion as well all because i refused to stand up for the pledge of the allegence. Teacher- mike stand up. Mike- no, i dont have too. Teacher- mike everyone else is so you have too. Mike- no its my constututional right,. *pledge is over we all sit down* Teacher- Why did you refuse to stand up,. Mike- couple reasons i do not believe in god for one and i wasent Rating: 5

i think your right for standin up for your rights, i'm atheist myself and I went through the same crap in elementary school
i don't think your in the wrong for mentioning your a pothead, but just remember that they can and will use that against you

pledge of allegiance doesn't mean shit to me. i LOVE what the united states once was, and what it could be. i take pride in my country and i would die for its freedom, but the pledge of allegiance has become such a formality that it has no meaning anymore. i go to a catholic school so we have to say prayers before every class, i stand out of respect for others but i usually just keep queit and put my arms at my side.
