How to clean permanent ring out of bong?

I let my bong get WAY too dirty before cleaning it...now there's a permanent ring around the water line. I let it soak for two days in 99% isopropyl alcohol, which normally cleans it great, but there's still some that won't come off. I also tried boiling it, that didn't help. Anything else I can try to get rid of this stain?

Bong buddy...I got it for 8$ at my local smoke shop and it comes with a little buddy for your pipes!

Fill your bong with the 99% Isopropal Alcohol and then toss in a match it should get rid of any stains as well as any residue left over from the explosion.

There's this product called bling. It has these tiny little crystals in it, so it's more abrasive. My bong has a huge neck and huge bowl at the bottom, so it works perfectly for me.

I am serious about the bong buddy. It's a magnet thing and it has velcro on one side...and you move it all over the inside of your bong and it gets all the resin off. Let me see if I can find the web address...
