Just leave your light on for 24 hours. The plant will not go hermie on you. The worst thing that will happen is you will get a couple two female seeds. I prefer my lights on at night too due to elevated temps during the day.

It sounds like you have been reading Clarks book? Don't most of his findings have been proven to be wrong about this plant. Way to many general conclusions and mixing up plant bonty more then once.

tadaa - It takes days for light or even dark to affect the plant so in 12 hours you will do nothing to harm the plant.
