OK, don't laugh...I mean it...rof.
Oh, and I am not knocking your grow...Starmark, I think they look nice overall, but since you asked and then knowmy asked...well, I will give it my spin
I need a 2 question's answered to make a better assessment,
1. What is your recipe?
2. How hot is it in your room?
...but here go's...In a quick pass, I looked at pix and said that look'slike the start of multiple nutrients overdose
1st off, I can't see the colors of the leaves...
I see...burnt tips...curled/twisted leaves...fan leaves pointing to the sky, cupped veiny leaves...
here is the funny part. they have that frazzled cat look about them. That is why my eye saw toxidity...
Now, after looking at them with a little more interest and compassion....I still can't see the colors, but it could be a potassium deficiency...hard to tell
Starmark, could you get some pix without the hps on or put a shade implement in front of it, so to alleviate the Yellooooooooo's
On the subject of flushing/leaching...It would be a good idea if you are in rockwool blocks/slabs at least once a month. IMHO:smokin:
OK knowmy...What do YOU think

no, lockup would be what I was referring to as toxidity...
deficiency means you don't have enough. Now, you can be deficient due to lock-up, but not necessarily always then case. Sometimes I will add a just one part to top-off to balance res; If I am sure I have a deficiency.
As I said, without being able to see the true colors of the leaves, It could go either way...There is not so much wrong in the 1st place...I just took notice, 'cause I have seen that in the past.
I got out the bible and the appearance of the leaves and the fact that starmark stated they were behind in bulk leads me to believe that it could be lack of potassium maybe iron deficient...could be due to lock.
If the tips are red then it is toxidity, if yellow deficient.*
*I could be wrong, but I believe that deficiency does not automatically mean locked! There just might not be enough of mineral...
Another note: Just because you have a ppm range of 1450; Does not mean that you have the right nutrient mix.
so, you could cause some nutrients to lock-up others, or
...as I said, there just might no be enough potassium/potash.
I just got Milwaukee EC meter and found that I have been running very strong, between 1500-1700ppm's (tds malfuntioned awhile back causing me to run off...tried/true recipe's. This works by the way.)
another note...I confirm that using AN 3-part at light/moderate light formula concentration's is high levels by nutrient standards, and I didn't kill my schtuff in the past...But, now having EC meter, I will lighten-up my nutrients to less toxic-possible levels.
hope this wasn't too much 'chitman.lw

They look ok. A high tds will make the plant flower a bit earlier do to stress but yield and high are effected in my opinion. For hydro I reccomend 300ppm of added ions and the high level is what is causeing the burning of the leaf tips.

nice looking nugs, man...
I am curious. You say you are using lucas. Are you using any additives?
and, Did you use lucas on the grow you are comparing your girth to?
thanks lw

To be honest, from the last shots, looks more like heat stress. Besides the fan that we see in the first set of pictures how are you cooling your 1000 watt? And, what size is the grow room?
