I have used the red radio shack ones they are pretty cool. You dont have to look at the trich color so much as the geometries of it. They grow,mushroom, swell, bend, degrade (amber). I do have good eyes and feed them well but my favorite muscle to grow is the heart.
Very good at guessing the gram wieght to the tenth of nugs
