does digging a hole help?
You definatly can get peat moss. Mix 80% peat moss in with the soil you dig up and you will get ten times more. If you are worried about it drying out you can put a few layers of BIODEGRADABLE mesh that go under flower beds down at the bottom if the holes are large enough, or biodegradeable plastic. This are made of organic substances as you do not want to be smoking deadly petrolium excretions from non biodegradable plastics or polute the earth. I use 22 gallon containers with farfred who you can call to find the nearest distributer to at 1800peatmoss. Have you ever dug through roots before? Not fun. Happy growing
