does digging a hole help?
I cant get my hands on any soil so i am thinking i will just dig up some holes and then put the soil I dug up back in them then plant. does this sound like a good idea will digging the holes do anything?

Hmm not sure about this and i am thinking about planting out this summer.
I would think if u dig out a hole and break up all the soil b4 u put it back in, it should help the plant send roots through it. I would add some perlite to the soil aswell it u can get some.

You definatly can get peat moss. Mix 80% peat moss in with the soil you dig up and you will get ten times more. If you are worried about it drying out you can put a few layers of BIODEGRADABLE mesh that go under flower beds down at the bottom if the holes are large enough, or biodegradeable plastic. This are made of organic substances as you do not want to be smoking deadly petrolium excretions from non biodegradable plastics or polute the earth. I use 22 gallon containers with farfred who you can call to find the nearest distributer to at 1800peatmoss. Have you ever dug through roots before? Not fun. Happy growing
