I've been med free for two years now, and I trip just as hard now as I did then. The difference is that I know better now, and I don't let it 'consume' me . . .

I suggested meds, and counseling because both can help, but once you get to a point where you can handle it. I say embrace, and go with it. It's alot easier than resisting!

If you're young, and inexperienced with this, then by all means, get professional help.

    But,

If you're like me, then take a trip with the "Madman"!
ure the first person I ever seen/heard say that, fair play man
What sort of symptoms are you talkin about? like shit moves around on ya? and u see faces and patterns in everyday situations? or is it literally paranoid voices and a general feeling of being overwhelmed by ure thoughts?

Soz for the 20 q's just I really do believe that mental illness doesn't exist, and ure the first person I can ask with first hand experience of psychosis, and uve actually embraced it.

I agree with that to a certain extent aswell...I just read a study done by a man called Rosenhan....and he kinda suggested that even professional psychiatrist can't tell sane from insane...and he put people being insane down to labeling them.

read this if you are at all interested.

lol...this is slightly out of context....but an interesting read none the less...lol

Extreme paranoia, delusional thinking, delusions of grandure, sometimes voices, broadcasting (Which can be a bitch) basicly overwhelmed by thoughts, the feeling people are watching me, (Always) and a load of other sh!t, lol!

Btw, mental illness is very real. Although, I don't consider myself as being 'mentaly ill', only 'mental', haha!

Yup, I'm crazy as a loon, and I prefer my woman the same way. You should try tripping acid with a crazy woman, she'll bring you right into her world, man. It's a trip!

Most anti-phychotic meds only change brain chemistry, and don't actually 'alter' the mind like weed does. Most don't give you a buzz, they change receptors and sh!t. They say phychosis is due to a chemical imbalance in the brain; the meds are simply used in attempt to 'balance' the imbalance.

    junk your a smart nut
Love is patient and kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. Love is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres
