If you made the seven deadly sins as a scorecard for every country i bet america would take the cake overall especially with its large population. Its just an observation, I wish someone could explain why they were proud of america, confuses me.
I am proud of America my country because I am an American..just as I am sure others are proud of there nationality but maybe not so much their government. I will always love America..wish the winds of change would blow through though...Alot of bad things here but we wouldn't even be allowed in most countries to have the access we have right now on the internet..People continue to slam the South but..I am also proud to be a Southerner..even though we are butt backwards in this State..its my home.

you want change but you state you are proud of your country, having any kind of pride in america or being an american will interfere in the kind of change that it needs, you dont make sense to me

im sorry but i dont see "american" as a nationality, its too fake, its the melting pot of the world

I agree for the most part, and I also live in the South. North Carolina to be more specific.

Yeah, I love Myrtle Beach; I live about an hour away in WIlmington. I'm actually from Philly, but I've been down here for almost 10 years.

Some things are not meant to be changed..and its your burden on you for your hate..I do the best I can and enjoy life for the most part..I make sense to me and thats what counts..I don't need your approval or understanding in any way..I love America! If you hate it so much and our ways here...maybe you could make a difference yourself and move? Theres a thought for you...what do you do beside spread hate rhetoric on America and insult people here all inthe name of debate? Your not that smart nor or you funny. For a healthy debate leave the word bitch out of your vocabulary because there are a few that can be lobbed your way in connection with who you really are but I choose to just browse tonight. Get that burden of hate off of you! You will feel much better.

So you like the South for the most part? The weather can be beautiful here during the summer..your lucky about Myrtle Beach..I don't live far from Gulf Shores and its really not going to be ready for much this summmer. I stay at the Renaissance Tower Condo when I visit..right on the beach..I go out on the balcony and burn a good one and listen to the ocean at night..now that helps me relax enough to sleep lol.

im from the south too. unless you live here its hard to get a proper feel for america. if all you do is look at our current govt. and american media than you may come to these negative conclusions about america. it seems other countries are jealous of americas power. but dont categorize all of america. especially if you dont live here. there are alot of good people here and many beautiful places to live. i love america. that doesnt mean i love everything my country does. look at president bush's approval rateing it was like 36% last week the lowest since Nixon before he got impeached. obviously the sheep have been mislead by their shepherd and its a shame they were so naive to vote him into office in the first place imo.
