posession is 9/10ths of the law. If you can just prove to them they're not your plants(by just saying you're walking through or something) they can't take you in. It would be a good idea to have proof too (like bring fishing poles if there's a river nearby). If they see you planting or doing things to them, it will most likely be your ass going to jail, though. Sucks for the other guy's property though.
