Tightness in Chest

Been smokin for 2 years, only in the past couple of months have i started feeling tightness in the chest and hard to swallow in my throat. Anything serious? Thanks

I've had my share of freak outs becuase of this, i just ignore it now the best i can. i only get it once in a little wile anyway. how oftin would you say youget it?

I think its just your lungs getting tired. have you been smoking a lot more then usual latly?

my advice: Take a break, a week maybe 2

sometimes it feels like my throat is swelling up and day by day its slowly closing but then it'll go away for like 2 months.

not too sure if its the same but since I was young I'd have moments where I got tightness, it feels like a needle pricking my heart. All of a sudden I have a limit on the amount of air I can take in cuz if I try to pass the tightness the needly feeling hurts like muthrfukkr. I dont know wtf it is. Plus the other day I thought i sliced off my cornea cuz I was looking thru a hole in my foiled up window n thought I got too close n rubbed a cut, I had a weird feeling so I stood up, I felt like I was dying, I dont think it was cuz of the eye thing, maybe a factor. But my hearing diminished badly, legs got kinda weak, the only way to describe it is like when people say they are harmed by spirits or something, shit was wild. Cuz even thru all of it I was like "fuk my eye.... wtf, get a grip fool", fighting whatever the fukk it was, so I walked out my room n down to the back room where the fan was on strong n sat down. my hearing came back slowly but along with an excessive ring, had to walk it off, have no idea wtf happened.

yea thats what it is like, i feel like i have to breathe in wicked heavy to be able to breathe at all. FOr the past year i Smoked like once or twice a month, but the past 3 or 4 months ive been smokin 4-5 times a week so maybe i just got too much smoke in my lungs or somethin. thanks fot he help

i had a bad smoker's cough for awhile but then i eased up on smokin and it's much better now. i still cough sometimes but not all the time and not uncontrollably.

i feel a tightness in my chest when i take a huge hit from a bong or a bubbler, but it goes away in 3-7 minutes.

try taking smaller hits (and there is a difference between smaller and SMALL, you can still take a hefty hit) your lungs will thank you; and you'll thank your lungs too. you don't have to cough your ass off just to take a good hit of marijuana. try not to hit until the point of coughing and you'll feel a lot better :rasta:

hmm, i feel like when i smoke from a bong it doesnt happen to me nearly as bad because the smoke is purer. I smoked like 6 joints the other night and thats when i really felt it the worst. I usually take medium sized hits so i usually have no problems during the act of smoking. Its after the high, like a 4-5 hours later that i really get the tightness in the chest and the pain in my throat. PEACE

thats so weird, i had something like this over at my friends house, my vision started to black out and i felt like i was gonna keel over and die. But i fought it off, i just forced myself to stay awake even though i got super tired and couldnt see or hear or move really. It passed and i went outside and we shot eachother up with airsoft guns all afternoon.
