I'm not worried about the power compnay..or anything of the sort. or popping the circuts. been there done that. ( not with the plants..but with a vaccume cleaner --.--)
the only thing I'm worried about, are my plants. who were (mabeys still are) in desperate need of more light. thought I bought anotyher set of lights 2 days ago and have seen a significant amount of growth since then.

I was told on another forum that using Floro lights is fine for the entire indoor grow. I just have to switch the light-color spectrum. ( or something of the sort)

I refuse to buy a HPS system. I went and looked at the equipment at a local Farm & Fleet.. and I'm NOT paying $30.00 for ONE lightbulb. I dont even want to imagine what the ballast + other shit would cost me.
I'm a poor white girl living with her finace in an inherited farmhouse:stoned: we dont have a whole lot of money.

so right now I have two florecent lights or 4 48'in bulbs on 14 plants.
Thats either 160 watts, or 7600 lumens.
is that enough?

I will be picking up mylar, however it more than likely wont be until saturday. I wont buy it online, I'm sick of buying things online. shipping as astronomical. so I'm desperately seeking greenhouses and plant nurserys that sell mylar in my area.
Whitemare Reviewed by Whitemare on . Watts or Lumens? How do you guys mesure the amount of lighting? Is it whatts or lumens? and about how many of (either) would you need to support 14 plants? Dose anybody know where to obtain mylar in the US? or are there any other reflective materials here in the USA that work well? I know tinfoil is a nono. thanks for any info! I really appreciate all the help! Rating: 5
