best way to clean glass pipes is put it in a zip lock bag with rubbing alcohol and salt and just shake it like it owes you money. :thumbsup:

Anything that is going to clean the resin off the pipe walls is going to kill it, I would think. Basically its breaking it apart if you were to think about it.

Boil the pipe, and then collect the resin from the water. I think this works, as the resin isn't water soluble. It seems it'd either gum up on the bottom of the pan or float to the surface. Anyone have some first hand experience?

yah i have done it that way before on an older pipe but i burned myself with the water and it does not smell all too great.
