Cinderella 99 (Anyone ever grow this strain?)

i got the c99 from female nl
    growing right now.
they gave me trouble at the start.
i vegged em on 1-1-06 and they are still
under fluros.i got 4 left out of 5.[damn dog]
but i will keep two for outdoors and will
toss the others in my flower room soon.
would love to show pix but would hate to
    incriminate myself further.
Love is patient and kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. Love is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres

You're flowering under 1000 watt hps, aren't you? Lucky dog(I'm madd with envy) Too bad about the one, but you still ahve four left, man. Not bad!

I think I'll only grow one this first round...funds are low, so...

Have you ever smoked Cindy? I understand she's a trip, lol! I can't wait! Well, I must, but you know what I mean...

What kind of flouros are you using, Owl? The tubes, or the cfl's. Did you veg with the blue specrum bulbs. If not, that may be the reason they are still vegging?

What the hell do I know, lol! I've never used flouros before, but I've read that you need the blue specrum for veg...

"Cinderella 99 f2 - The C99 has been hailed as the ??Holy Grail? by Bros Grimm and is an extremely productive, potent plant. We have selected two top parents to create this F2. Specifically bred for indoors it is also an excellent outdoor performer. We have had growers get close to a kilo of dried bud off our F2 C99s.The high will please the most seasoned smoker. Easy to clone. Flowering time is 50 days."

I have never grown it but it sounds great if its a stout sativa that flowers in 50 days. Sativas have a very energetic high as the thc of sativas does not degrade into cbc or other compounds that give a more hazy high.

Did you know wikipedia has a section of cannabis strains http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cannabis_strains

    # Seed Type - Regular
    # Environment - Indoor/Outdoor/Greenhouse
    # Flowering - 50 Days
    # Height - 150 Cm
    # Yield - 160 grams
    # StrainType - Mostly Sativa

    One love

    Some more info;
"Ciderella 99 received her name because, like the well-known fairly tale heroine, she is a high-class girl with humble origins. Orginally, the Brothers Grimm developed the F1 generation of Cinderella 99, but they discontinued their business, making the strain unavailable. Gypsy Nirvana commisioned the breeders at Nirvana to produce the F2 generation. They selected two top perents and concentrated on reviving a version of Cinderella that retained the "traits package" of delious flavor, sativa high, ang a quick finish.
The F2 Cindy was selected and stablized. When planted in 3gallon soil bucket, Cinderella 99 yields 50 grams of dried bud on average - not a huge cornucopia of pot yield, but a respectable-size harvest of premium slow-smoking buds. Cinderella's bud construction is very dense for sativa-dominant plant, with a friuty aroma and a nice sugary resin coating. Gypsy Nirvana's stablized F2 Cindy finished flowering between 57 and 61 days under 12/12 indoor light cycle. Althuogh developed for indoor growing, Cinderella has fared very well outdoors too, yielding of up to 1 Kg bud per plant.
The abundance of fine leaves typical of sativas can make Cinderella 99 difficult to manicure, but she is easy to clone. Abundant trichome developement can be seen two thirds of the way down her first leaves, closest to the buds.
Cinderella 99 gives a silly, bubbly, yet lucid head high with a few inhalations of her pineaple-like smoke or vapor. Sweet taste and giggle fits make Cinderella 99 fun for occasional smokers while her classis sativa mind stimulation and her good growing traits will please the old school congregation of devoted tokers. I've heard good things about the c99 pineapple pheno.

    Here's some info:

For those unfamiliar with brothers grimms Cinderella 99, it was described as ??THE HOLY GRAIL? and is by far one of the most resiny and fruity strains available.. I preferred the pineapple tasting pheno and selected the most pineapple flavoured over several generations to isolate the flavour ? this plant smells more like pineapples than pineapples do themselves and is absolutely bursting with huge amounts of rich resin glands ? the high is very soothing , yet can initiate activity and stimulate your thoughts as more sativa leaning strains do ?. Maturation is fairly fast at 60 days ?

Sounds like a winner to me...czech it out!

I'm going with the c99 F2 fem, but let me know if you do the pineapple. I may czech it out myself? I think it's a bit more expensive, but it sure sounds good!

the image reaper, I though Hemp Depot shut down a bit ago?

and i have a friend who has oodles of c99 x neville's haze seeds (f1's from original stock) due to an accident last year...along with master kush and blockhead, both bred with the same haze male. neville's haze is a faster than normal finisher for a haze (end of oct to mid-nov) and should be a nice blend for the c99. testers have been sent out but of course it's way too early for results other than they are viable.

canmon at yahoo for details...or the chat room.
