i tryed to move my light closer and it burnt my plant to a crisp in hours its a bit closer now but its nowhere near 2-6 inches its a big light through i got it from a factory it gives off alot of heat

When should you flower a plant..... from what i can gather people say when it reaches a hight of aprox 30 cm is this true How far away from the plant should the light be if i have a 250w son lamp.
