Buds from Hermaphrodites

Hey everyone,

My plants turned hermie a while back , so I went through and picked off all the male balls, and continue to do so as they come back.

But I know there are some pollen sacs within the dense cola that I can't reach, so I'm expecting some seeds. My question is, will the bud itself be lower potency because its a hermie? Or is it the same bud, just with seeds?

it will be lower potency becuz the plant has to put more energy into making seeds witch diverts the energy from going to the buds so u get smaller less potent buds sorry buddy!

ps. i have bin growing the green godess for 8 years monday

Interesting point.

I would think the energy from the plant would have more to do with how large the buds are and the potency would have more to do with the environment and strain.

Then again, the environment is more than likely the reason it went hermie in the first place.

I honestly have no idea, that's a really good question.

I have read in the past that the buzz from seeded weed is taken for granted. I believe it was an article by DJ Short that stated that seeded bud has a different effect than sinsemilla. I wish I knew where that article was so I could post a link. May be someone knows the article i'm talking about and knows where to find it. I don't believe he was talking potency though, I think it just had to do with the quality of the high. Just thought I would mention it as at the time I thought it was a very interesting article.

As bad as it sounds, 97% of the bud I've smoked in my life is seeded.

I wonder how the potency of the seeds will be after I get through with them will be

A few male flowers should not effect the potency in my opinion, nor would seeds. If it does minutely I dont think you will be able to tell by looking at them or smoking them.
