Probably why you think you're always right about politics... but wait... isn't Iraq heading towards civil war (bush's exit strategy if you ask me) and didn't the Ports deal Bush tried to make happen get absolutely NO support?! (If i remember correctly, it was a 30-2 vote against it). The Hurricane Katrina disaster, with it's days upon days of waiting for people to get rescued. But oh, that's right, the Republican's are on a roll, that's why Bush's approval rating is the lowest of any president since they started keeping track. You're right though, republicans are always elected because they do a better job.

the lack of support for eather party is actually paving the way for a third party to get in. if you look at past elections where this sort of thing has happend (low support for either side, very low support for the president in-office) a third party shares a good chance while running.
