scaring myself
it wont let me edit my message, i wanted it to look like this:
the fact that u realized all of that and didnt try to suppress it means you can beat this addiction. this thread proves it.
all yah need to do is take a 1 month break, just don't buy it, let your mind go crazy, but do NOT call up that dealer. by the 2nd week, your addiction will be gone. after the 4 weeks are over, u will see pot in a different light. it will be special to you again, not to mention your tolerance will be killed and you'll get absolutely ripped when you get your first bag in a month.
think about how you began smoking, it was a really really special even that u had to plan for in ahead and you were actually excited to smoke again. i bet that smoking has gotten a lot easier for you now, right? you have a set dealer, you know when you can smoke, and you've probably taken a few chances because you wanted to smoke at that exact moment. that is the root of addiction in my opinion, accessibility.
to control my pot smoking, i've built myself a nice little reward system. i only smoke when i get something productive done that i tell myself beforehand i must have it done or i can not smoke. for example, NO SMOKING until my research paper is completely finished. i get my paper done, i feel like i've accomplished something, and i take my newfound good feeling straight into my high. makes every high a lot better when you feel like you're not just a lazy idiot.
try both of these methods out. sometimes i even push myself, i'll put a loaded bong out on a table right in front of my homework so i have to look at it. it's tough to stare at a filled up bong and not smoke the herb; but it builds willpower. if you can stare at your weed when you want it badly and NOT smoke it, then you can EASILY avoid calling your dealer.
good luck, and just remember, control your drugs, don't let them control you.
