Would I be Eligible in California?

I get very painful, what I'm assuming are back spasms, about 1-2 times per month. Each time it happens it lasts about a week. This has been going on for over 10 years. It happens in different spots on my back, but always on the right side. Somethimes it hurts so bad I can't turn my head, usually it keeps me up at night because I can't get comfortable. I would think this would def. qualify for med marijuana.

The first time it happened I went to a doc and he really didn't do anything other than give me somthing like prescription Motrin and send me on my way. A while later I went to another doc and he did pretty much the same thing. Since then I've pertty much figured that the doctors would be useless so fuck 'em and haven't mentioned it since. I did go to an acupuncturist once a while back and that did help a bit. A friend suggested smoking and that does help more than anything. This was the main reason that I started smoking again after stopping for 5 years.

Fortunately I've had access to medical marijuana but I'd like to get an official recomendation so I can be legal. Plus my source has had a few legal problems recently and I don't know how long it will continue so I'd like to be able to go to the clubs myself.

Here's my problem, from what I've heard you need to have a lengthy history of your condition in order to get an official doctors recomendation. Since the first two docs did nothing for me I never mentioned it again and the two that I did go to were just random urgent care clincs and I don't even remember where they are anymore. I could get records fromthe acupunture place but that was only once. Can I still get an official recomendation and ID card? Any doctor recomendations in the San Francisco area?

There are clubs in SF that will guide you to a md. also look on the back of SF.Weekly Newspaper, or the Bay Area Guardian. Alwayz a med cannabis md there.

That just isnt true. In Sf people do NOT get arrested for cannabis even if they dont have a med cana card. I have personally experienced this and i had a QP when i was pulled over.

www.canorml.org/prop/215physicians.html for a list of Doctors, etc

there is no hassle here in CA for legitimate prescription holders, that I know of ... in fact, even the California Highway Patrol issued a press statement that the officers have been instructed to not take med. pot from people they pull over, etc ... and the DEA cocksuckers have said they aren't interested in the small med. users, so I wouldn't sweat it ... I also wouldnt walk down the street smoking a joint and waving it in everyone's face ... yes, it's legal, but dont get stupid with it .. :smokin:

I am guilty of walking down the streets of San Francisco smoking joints.
I have had people tell me, " That takes a lot of balls",(usualy people who dont live here) i say, "look on just about ever street corner and you find a liquor store. That my friend takes a lot of balls and tons of inconsideration for the people that live here. I refuse to feel "bad" or "hide" from anyone. People fucking smoke those nasty ass cigarettes walking down the street blowing that fucked up smoke every where and then they flick whats left of those nasty things on the ground.
If society can deal with them, then society will have to deal with me.
Now, would i walk up to another and just blow smoke in their face? only if requested.
